Janet Robb
Person
Janet Hester Robb is a Director of Enablement with 27 years in IT, specialising in helping organisations actually adopt technology—not just install it and hope for the best. A long-standing Microsoft community voice and early contributor in the Power Platform space (before it was cool), Janet brings a practical, people-first lens to AI, Copilot, and digital transformation. She’s known for translating complex tech into something humans can understand—and more importantly, feel confident using. Janet is passionate about the cultural side of change, championing the idea that if you don’t give people the space to learn, experiment, and occasionally press the wrong button, then no amount of AI investment will land. She often jokes that AI isn’t the scary bit—it’s the pace, the volume of information, and the expectation that people should just “keep up” without support. Alongside her work in tech, Janet is a facial palsy advocate following her own experience, bringing empathy and authenticity into everything she does. She strongly believes people don’t leave their personal lives at the door at 9am—we bring all of who we are into work—and that’s exactly how organisations should think about enablement. Warm, honest, and refreshingly real, Janet’s mission is simple: make technology work for people, not the other way around… and maybe make it a bit more human (and a bit more fun) along the way.
