Structured Document Generation with Forms enables organizations to create, manage, and generate standardized documents at scale with built-in governance and compliance in SharePoint. Business process owners can centrally build and maintain form-driven templates -- such as contracts, agreements, proposals, and HR documents -- ensuring content stays accurate and up to date. Users can then generate the right document every time by just filling out the form, without manual formatting, versioning issues, or compliance risk, simplifying high-volume, structured document workflows across the organization.

Microsoft 365 Copilot makes PDF reviews faster and easier on mobile. Select text in any PDF in OneDrive iOS and tap Ask Copilot to explain, summarize, translate, or ask a custom question about the selection — the same in-context Copilot experience already generally available on desktop, now on OneDrive iOS. When a user who has access to the SharePoint app in Teams clicks a SharePoint page or news link in Teams chat or channels, the link will open inside the SharePoint app in Teams (if available) instead of the mobile browser

Copilot Search brings AI-powered, natural-language search to SharePoint and OneDrive, combining relevant results, AI-generated summaries with source references, intuitive filters, and a seamless handoff to Copilot.

We're enabling PDF annotation for sensitivity-label protected PDFs in OneDrive and SharePoint on the web. With this update, users who have the appropriate usage rights can annotate these protected PDFs in place in their browser while preserving the file's sensitivity label, encryption, and usage rights when changes are saved.

AI citations analytics will help you track the usage of SP documents, news and pages through copilot and AI agents. You will be able to see how often a page or a file is referenced in a copilot response. You can also get insights into SharePoint site content getting referenced in copilot responses aggregated at the site level.

Users will be able access an AI generated audio summary of SharePoint News posts in the SharePoint app for Teams (Viva Connections).

Site owners have a critical role to play in ensuring accuracy of site information, including the site's necessity, its owners, members, permissions, and sharing settings. We’re introducing the Governance Reviews Dashboard in Private Preview, a centralized view where site owners can see all pending site governance reviews (inactivity, ownership, attestation) across the sites they own.

The dashboard shows required actions, due timelines, and site enforcement status and allows site owners to take action directly from one place. Combined with consolidated policy notifications, it replaces multiple emails with a single, actionable governance…

With this new capability, users of Copilot in SharePoint will be able to view saved and unsaved preview content side by side with chat. Users will also be able to interact with created HTML forms and confirm responses to send to chat.

This feature allows SharePoint News authors to distribute posts to an Engage community or storyline while preserving full fidelity rendering and a unified conversation experience. SharePoint News post will appear consistently in Engage across feeds, digests, Outlook, Teams, desktop, web and mobile apps. When distributed, the SharePoint News comments module is replaced with the richer Engage conversation module, ensuring a single, shared discussion thread across surfaces.
