Cloud ERP application of Dynamics 365 for finance, supply chain, manufacturing and operations; successor of Dynamics AX, usually abbreviated D365FO.
Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) runs core ERP processes such as general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, procurement, inventory, production and project accounting for mid-sized and large organisations. It grew out of Dynamics AX and now consists of the Finance and Supply Chain Management applications.
Integration is a central topic. Typical building blocks are data entities exposed through OData, business events that notify other systems when something happens, dual-write to Dataverse, and orchestration with Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate.
