Description

Excel combines a grid of cells with formulas, charts and a data model. PivotTables summarise large lists, Power Query imports and cleans data, and dynamic array functions such as FILTER, SORT and XLOOKUP replace many older formula patterns.

The desktop app is the most complete version; Excel for the web covers common tasks in the browser, and Copilot in Excel can suggest formulas and analyse tables.
